My taste has alway been questionable.Perhaps it's the Shiraz talking but I've been knocking myself out with PhotoSketch, an iPhone app.I feel sure this sort of stuff is just a click away in Photoshop, but I'd never be seen dead exploring the "artistic" or "stylize" parts of the filter menu. At the north end of Leighton Beach this afternoon. Beginning of the season according to one flyer. They all have a thermo bag they zip themselves into once they're aloft, I can't figure out how they manage wthout gloves though. I'm really digging the lowest res camera I've ever owned. Camerabag has a nice little set of fx, but the best thing is that it saves the original file with no effects applied as well. You can try other effects from scratch.Posterous has some competetion (I think). Posterous is dead easy to use (maybe the competition is too). Posterous looks good. All the competition I've seen looks daggy (no, not good daggy) Anyway I was never going to shoot these strawberry hats on the 1ds III was I? I'd like to shoot a food story...

I've been reading "The Cloudspotters Guide". Entertaining, Informative and addictive. Another dimension to my abiding love of cluttered skies. I'm deriving far too much joy from my new ability to name clouds. Anyway we've had some rather spectacular cumolonimbus over our way this afternoon… Camerabag "cinema" Robert Frith Acorn Photo http://www.acorn.com.au http://twitter.com/robfrith

I like most of the Camerabag effects. Helga is my fave, along with 1974, 1962 & Magazine. Heading home today. This is O in front of surprisingly good hotel art; a photo of a glacier moraine. Robert Frith Acorn Photo http://www.acorn.com.au http://twitter.com/robfrith
