This is the original incarnation of the fabulous Lunchbox in Cloisters Arcade. Later client alterations messed up the swathes of red laminate and white tile. The concept was a checkout counter and display fridge that unfolded during the lunch period and folded away again mid afternoon freeing up space in the cramped mall. The two units were based on industrial motorised gate mechanisms and operated by remote. Haven't been by in a while but I believe the tenant ultimately stopped using the moving parts. That was after they'd plastered the walls with ugly vinyl words supposed to inspire passers by to ravenous hunger.
